Our unique ‘Safe & Sound Arrival’ Package

Listening to our teachers
Our teachers often tell us how excited they are to live and teach in the UK, but everything they need to do before they come can be daunting. This is especially so when they have to finish university and literally pack their lives away. Some say it can feel overwhelming.
And sometimes that isn’t the worst of it; travelling can be tiring, immigration queues can be long, lots of heavy suitcases to collect, and then they have to figure out what to do and where to go…
We at RRR understand this and offer our unique ‘Safe & Sound Arrival’ Package.
Our teachers ask, ‘What do you do to help us prepare for living in the UK?’
Our answer: We offer advice and expertise with all aspects of your move, built on over 30 years’ experience.
But our teachers tell us by far the most important help we give is organising their accommodation so it is ready for them to move straight in.

Our teachers ask, ‘How do you help me get ready for my arrival?’
Our answer: We send you a copy of the RRR Taxi Form, identical to the one the taxi cab driver has. We ask you to check all of the details (e.g. flight number and estimated time of arrival) so there are no mistakes.
We also send you a scanned copy of the landing card you will receive on the aeroplane, so you can familiarise yourself with it and ask us any questions you may have. (Please note: you will still have to fill in the official one!)

Our teachers ask, ‘What do I do when I clear immigration and collect my bags?
Our answer: Our taxi cab driver will be waiting in the Arrivals Hall to collect you and your bags and take you to your accommodation.
Our teachers ask, ‘How will I know which taxi cab driver is waiting for me and is safe to go with?’
Our answer: Our taxi cab driver will be holding an identical RRR taxi booking form as the one sent to you before you left home (we suggest you print it out). It has your name and our logo to guarantee your safety. Also, all our taxi drivers have a UK police check.

Our teachers ask, ‘How do I get the keys to my new accommodation?’
Our answer: Our taxi cab driver has the keys to give you so you can go straight into your new home’. For details please see https://www.rrrecruitment.com/our-unique-accommodation-service/
Our teachers ask, ‘How do you help make my new house into a home?’
Our answer: We believe it is the little things that make a house into a home. For example, we know you will probably be tired after your journey. The last thing you want to do is grocery shopping. Your welcome includes a box of basic essentials to get you started.

Our teachers ask, ‘How do you help us get started?’
Our answer: On a practical level, your ‘welcome pack’ includes a local map, location and directions to the local shops and – of course – to your school.
We also arrange for you to meet with teacher(s) who already live in the local area, and if possible teach in the school you are going to. We feel the advice of someone who was in your shoes a year or more ago is invaluable.
Our teachers say, ‘I’m worried about living with strangers, how does RRR help?’
Our answer: Simple. They may be strangers, but you know they are all RRR clients who have been through the same security and background checks as you. They are also teachers, sharing identical hopes, aspirations and – yes – worries as you have. A ready-made friendship group!
