Choice
RRR employs a wide variety of teachers; some in full-time teaching, some in part-time teaching, some in long term positions, some in casual or relief ‘supply’ positions.
RRR is committed to giving all teachers choice; choice in the employment they prefer, and choice in how they receive their salary.

The amount you get paid
RRR will ALWAYS pay you the same salary as a teacher with the same qualifications and experience employed directly by the school you are teaching in.
The current salary levels can be found on several websites. We would suggest looking on the UK Government’s official website at www.gov.uk and searching for ‘teachers’ pay’.

Deductions
Unlike many recruitment companies, RRR DOES NOT make any charges for payroll costs.
In the UK, the government deducts the following from your pay:
1. Income tax
2. National Insurance Contributions
The government also encourages everyone to join, and pay into, a pension scheme (please see the separate fact file on pensions).

How we work out your pay
Giving you CHOICE remains our goal.
Teachers generally prefer one of two options:
1. The vast majority of teachers ask us to divide their annual salary by 195 equal instalments and pay them for the days they teach every week.

Why 195 instalments? Because that is the number of teaching days in a year.

2. Some teachers ask us to divide their annual salary by twelve and pay them for the days they teach in twelve equal monthly instalments.

Either way, the choice is always yours. Please let your RRR consultant know which method you prefer.
