Hello!
My name is Dawson, and I graduated with my Bachelor of Education from Mount Royal University in Calgary, where I’ve lived my entire life, this past April. I’ve been working in England
since the beginning of the school year this September, teaching secondary maths full-time.

As you might expect, moving across the world in 2020 has been an incredible adventure, and I’m fortunate to have been so well supported in my travels. I became interested in teaching abroad during my final practicum, where another teacher recommended a recruiting company that she had worked with in the past, RRRecruitment. I did end up coming over with RRRecruitment, which has helped with everything from a free ride in from the airport upon arrival to getting set up in an apartment and being well prepared for my first teaching job. It can feel impossible to find your footing while self-isolating and trying to maneuver Covid restrictions, so it was valuable to have a nearby connection to offer some help whenever I needed it.
